Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Shawn’s Wholesome Store. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of shawnswholesomestore.net and any computer-related services provided by Shawn’s Wholesome Store.
By accessing this website, submitting a service request, scheduling an appointment, approving an estimate, or allowing us to perform work on your equipment, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
1. Our Services
Shawn’s Wholesome Store provides computer-related services that may include:
Computer diagnostics and troubleshooting
Hardware installation, replacement, and upgrades
Software installation and configuration
Virus and malware removal
Computer cleaning and optimization
Data-transfer and data-recovery assistance
Device setup and technical support
Other computer repair or technology services agreed upon with the customer
The availability, scope, timing, and price of services may vary depending on the condition of the device, availability of replacement parts, and complexity of the requested work.
2. Estimates and Authorization
Any initial estimate is based on the information available at the time it is provided. Additional problems may be discovered after diagnostics or repair work begins.
We will make reasonable efforts to obtain your approval before performing work that materially exceeds an approved estimate. You authorize us to inspect, test, open, disassemble, restart, update, and otherwise access the device as reasonably necessary to diagnose or complete the requested service.
You represent that you own the equipment submitted for service or have permission from its owner to authorize the work.
3. Customer Responsibilities
Before providing a computer, storage device, or other equipment for service, you are responsible for:
Backing up important files, photos, documents, applications, passwords, and other information
Removing confidential information that is not needed for the requested service
Providing accurate information about the device and known problems
Providing passwords, recovery keys, or access credentials when reasonably necessary
Disclosing any existing physical damage, liquid exposure, malware, unauthorized software, or prior repair attempts
Ensuring that all installed software and stored content are lawfully owned or used
You should change any password shared with us after the service has been completed.
4. Data Loss and Device Risk
Computer repair and diagnostic work can involve risks, including data loss, corruption, hardware failure, software failure, or the discovery of pre-existing damage.
Although we will use reasonable care when handling your equipment, Shawn’s Wholesome Store does not guarantee that data will be preserved or recovered. You are responsible for maintaining a current backup before service begins.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Shawn’s Wholesome Store is not responsible for the loss, alteration, corruption, disclosure, or inability to recover data when such loss results from:
A pre-existing device or drive failure
Malware, ransomware, or corrupted software
Normal diagnostic or repair procedures
Manufacturer defects
Power failure or electrical damage
A customer’s failure to maintain a backup
Circumstances outside our reasonable control
Any data-recovery service is provided on a best-efforts basis. Payment may still be required for diagnostic time or attempted recovery even when some or all data cannot be recovered, provided this was disclosed before the service was performed.
5. Privacy During Computer Service
Technicians may unintentionally encounter files, account names, notifications, or other information while diagnosing or repairing a device. We will only access information reasonably necessary to perform the requested service, investigate the reported issue, test the device, or protect our systems and customers.
We do not knowingly search through a customer’s personal files for reasons unrelated to the requested service.
We may refuse service and may report information when legally required or when we reasonably believe a device or its contents present an immediate safety, security, fraud, or legal concern.
6. Parts and Replacement Components
Replacement parts may be new, used, refurbished, aftermarket, or manufacturer-original, depending on availability and the customer’s approval.
Part prices and availability may change. Special-order parts may require advance payment and may be nonreturnable after they have been ordered, except when required by law or permitted by the supplier.
Removed parts may be returned to the customer upon request unless they must be returned to a manufacturer, supplier, warranty provider, or recycling program.
7. Payment
Payment is due according to the estimate, invoice, or service agreement provided to you. We may require:
A diagnostic fee
A deposit before ordering parts
Partial payment before work begins
Full payment before repaired equipment is released
Diagnostic fees and labor charges may be due even when the device cannot be repaired, when the customer declines the recommended repair, or when the problem cannot be reproduced, provided the fee was disclosed beforehand.
You are responsible for applicable taxes, parts, labor, shipping, third-party charges, and any other approved expenses.
8. Cancellations and Refunds
You may cancel a service request before work begins. However, you remain responsible for approved diagnostic work already completed, labor already performed, and parts or materials already ordered.
Completed labor and diagnostic services are generally nonrefundable. Refunds for parts are subject to their condition, supplier policies, manufacturer policies, and applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms eliminates any refund, cancellation, or warranty rights that cannot legally be waived.
9. Limited Service Warranty
Any specific warranty covering labor or replacement parts will be stated on your invoice, estimate, or written service agreement.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, we do not guarantee that a repaired device will remain free from unrelated problems, future failures, malware, software incompatibility, manufacturer defects, user-caused damage, or problems caused by updates or third-party products.
A service warranty does not cover:
New or unrelated problems
Accidental, physical, or liquid damage
Misuse or unauthorized modifications
Malware or reinfection
Password or account problems
Data loss
Manufacturer defects
Repairs or modifications performed by another person after our service
Problems caused by software, updates, accessories, or third-party services
10. No Guarantee of Results
We will use reasonable professional efforts to perform approved services. However, computer problems can be unpredictable, and we do not guarantee that every device can be repaired, that every issue can be identified, or that every file can be recovered.
Descriptions of expected results are estimates and are not guarantees unless expressly stated in writing.
11. Unclaimed Equipment
We will make reasonable efforts to notify you when your equipment is ready for pickup or when a decision is required.
Equipment that remains unclaimed for an extended period may be subject to reasonable storage charges after notice is provided. Equipment will not be treated as abandoned, recycled, sold, or otherwise disposed of except as permitted by applicable law and after any notices required by law have been provided.
12. Website Information

Mobile information and SMS consent records will not be sold or shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We may share information with service providers that help us operate the messaging program, subject to appropriate restrictions.

16. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Shawn’s Wholesome Store will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost business, loss of use, lost data, or the cost of replacement equipment.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from a particular service will not exceed the amount you paid Shawn’s Wholesome Store for that service.
These limitations do not apply where liability cannot legally be excluded or limited.
17. Indemnification
You agree to be responsible for claims, losses, or expenses arising from your unlawful use of the website, your violation of these Terms, your lack of authority to authorize work on a device, or unlawful content or software you provide to us.
This provision applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
18. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any dispute will be handled in a court with proper jurisdiction in North Carolina unless the parties agree to another lawful dispute-resolution process.
19. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. The revised version will be posted on this page with a new “Last Updated” date.
Your continued use of the website or services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
20. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
